Pain In The Neck

So this quest can be kind of tricky at the start, one of the things you should have is Ernest the party member which you can buy his services in the bar for 500 gold, which you can buy with the starting gold found in different houses and a chest in both the graveyard and the town exterior.

After you get Ernest you should get Eddy the crackhead. and you will need 75 gold to buy the crack from the hobo den from the NPC with green hair. This will also be covered by the starting gold so long as you don't purchase much.

After you get Eddy you should get his main starting weapon which can be found in the diner in the New Hebron town shopping area. It will be next to the chef its a brown box that kind of blends in.

Another thing you can do is finish the clowning around quest AFTER getting Eddy and Ernest, it will level up Eddy once.

To start the quest go to the New Hebron town shopping center and enter the weapons and armor store and talk to the NPC on the top right. He will give you a temple key, after you get the quest you will need to leave the New Hebron Town and head right on the world map, you should see a temple from where you leave, enter it fight the first vampire. Be sure to use your potion afterwards to heal up and continue on to the top left, go through the hallway until you get you see the Imp guarding the door. Now personally I would suggest not killing him as he can show up later if you decide not to kill Goddard. But you can if you want to, you can kill him though he only gives 30 XP and 5 Gold(This may be changed in future updates.)

One you get through it wouldn't be a good idea to take on Goddard right away. Instead get the key from the box shown here.

Goddard is in the door marked with an X. After you get the key go through the hallway, back to the same room you entered the Old Temple through and head to the right, there will be a vampire bow and a total of 600 Gold. Go ahead and equip the vampire bow on Ernest, I would suggest going back to town and buying some gear, but you may be able to beat him. But again I would suggest going back to town just to be safe, especially if one of your characters has been poisoned.

After buying some gear and I would suggest getting some armor for Ernest and possible a potion or two as you will need them.

Now after you beat Goddard I would suggest not killing him as there isn't a reward yet for killing him yet, but now that I think about it I'm going to add one since there should be so if you're playing this so this will be changed by next release.

NOTE: BE CAREFUL if you misclick too fast you might end up killing Goddard.

After you leave you should get an option for the Imp to appear at the camp site, say yes and continue on and head back to where you got this quest. At the New Hebron Town shopping center weapons shop.

You'll have two options either lie and tell him you find nothing which gives you 50 XP or tell him the truth and give him half of the gold which is 300.

NOTE: Currently even if you don't have 300 he will take what he can, there isn't any dialogue if you haven't spent it but will be patched in next update. As I've already added it as I write this guide.

If you decide to Give him half of the gold you will get an old ring, currently there is no use for this. But in a future update it will do something of interest.
